Crompton is one of the oldest lighting businesses in the world, having been founded in Great Britain in 1878. The founder, Colonel Crompton, designed and installed some of the earliest recorded electric lighting installations. The company soon built an excellent reputation, supplying electric lamps and fittings to the palaces of Queen Victoria, including Windsor Castle.
In 1888 the company began trading in Australia and now provides lighting solutions to the public and to trade customers, for residential and commercial projects. Crompton offer a wide range of products across technologies including LED, halogen and CFL.
Our Replacement Products
LED World track lighting has a similar functionality and style as the track offered by Crompton and offers an excellent alternative. LED World offer track in the same 1m, 2m and 3m lengths as Crompton, and we can cut track to your required length as a bespoke option. Our track can also be provided with a middle power feed, so the design of your track solution is not restricted by the power needing to be fed in at the end of the track.
At LED World we offer track lights ranging from 9W to 40W to suit a variety of installations. They are available in a Warm White (3000K) or Cool White (5000K) colour temperature.
LED World offers a specific range named ‘Le Art’ for art galleries and museums, which have their own specialised requirements. This range allows the beam angle to be adjusted, from spotlight to a wide beam wall wash effect.
As experts in LED track lighting, LED World have a wealth of experience and can assist you in designing a track solution which answers your specific needs. Our products are manufactured in-house and supplied directly to you. Contact us with more details of your project and we can offer our expert advice and provide a tailored quote.
